Joep Athmer

Chairman

Was born in 1955 in the Netherlands
Graduated in BSc Civil Engineering in the Netherlands and completed the INSEAD Advanced Management Program, Fontainebleau and IMD Lausanne.
Present employment/position: Member of the Executive Board – Van Oord & Managing Director Van Oord Offshore.
Previous employment/positions: Various positions within Van Oord, amongst other as Area Manager, Project Manager, Head Engineering & Estimating including 22 years working abroad (incl. UK, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia).

Eric Huber

Was born on 26 May 1956 in Haarlem, The Netherlands
Graduated, PhD Chemical Technology 1982, Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands
Present employment /position (from September 1984): Business Development Director Oil and Gas with Royal Haskoning, various management and Business Development positions during his career
Previous employment/positions: Delft University of Technology (April 1982 until August 1984)

Cees van Rhee

Member

Graduated in MSc degree Civil Engineering (spec. fluid mechanics) in 1984 at the Delft University of Technology.
Present employment: professor for Dredging Engineering for the Master Offshore and the master Hydraulic Engineering at CiTG since 1007 (Delft University of Technology).
Previous employment/positions:
From 2004 – 2007 he was head of the Dredging Research department of Van Oord.
In 1990 he changed to HAM (currently Van Oord Dredging and Marine Contractors), a dredging contractor. At this company he was employed at the Research Department, Estimating Department and worked for two years in Hong Kong where he was responsible for the Production and Planning of one of the large land reclamation projects.
From 1997 – 2001 he was posted for two days per week at the TU Delft where a PhD-research program, financed by the large Dutch dredging contractors, was executed. End of 2002 the PhD degree was obtained with honours.
